Global superstars of convenience retail are heading to Ireland this September to give the local industry a major boost as part of a landmark conference.
Ireland’s Convenience Retailer Summit takes place in Dublin on 6 September, featuring a range of A-list names from the world of convenience retailing.
Over 500 delegates are expected to attend the event, which features the Canadian founder of global health food franchise Freshii, Matthew Corrin.
A popular Dragon on the North American version of Dragon’s Den, and a former designer for Oscar de la Renta, Matthew is a global star in the convenience sector founding one of the world’s most popular food brands.
The event also features Scott Hartman, a multiple US business Hall-of-Famer and president and CEO of Rutter’s, which operates convenience stores throughout the USA.
Meanwhile, Canadian consumer and retail expert, Ted Zittell, is a retail consultant to the biggest brands in the world, known for his ability to spot trends and monetise them. His skills have been employed by Tesco, Kroger, Sainsbury’s and Wawa Convenience, and the September Summit will be his first speaking date in Ireland.
Also addressing delegates on the day is Jamil Qureshi, a motivational speaker who has helped worked with top premiership football players, the European Ryder Cup team, F1’s top teams, and myriad blue chip companies, thrusting him into the spotlight as one of the world’s leading motivational coaches.
The event also sees top domestic personalities hit the stage with Maxol CEO Brian Donaldson providing his insights, and Ibec CEO Danny McCoy relay his expertise on economics and Brexit.
And providing the local industry with insights into convenience’s digital future will be Emmanuel Dollé, recognised globally as a digital expert extraordinaire. His experience at the upper echelons of Google and Facebook will be give convenience retailers invaluable tools to boost their business’s digital presence.
Host of the event is Ivan Yates; Newstalk presenter, columnist, and political pundit, Ivan is renowned for his unique and forthright style, robust views, and compelling delivery.
The theme of Ireland’s Convenience Retailer Summit, which takes place on 6 September at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road in Dublin will be ‘The Future of Convenience’.
And all those in attendance will be able to gather insights, inspiration and innovations needed for the challenges posed by convenience retail’s exciting future.
