June 2019 – CSNA Security Report makes national headlines

In advance of our national conference we commissioned a piece of research on security matters. Members had been reporting an increase in the aggressive, threatening and violent behaviour they were dealing with on a daily basis. It quickly became apparent that a hard line had to be taken in the interests of our members and their staff. The report had some incredible insights and if you haven’t read it we suggest you do, it is freely available at csna.ie. Since the publication of this report and our demand for zero tolerance, much work has been done by CSNA on our members behalf as per a recent ezine update sent via email. If you haven’t received this update you can view this at csna.ie. Our commitment to members in relation to security is ongoing and we are actively working with An Garda Siochana on your behalf regularly.
