The vast majority of suppliers consider the presence of an enthusiastic ,well-informed and professional sector willing to provide outlets for their products as a phenomenal bonus, and bend over backwards to ensure and maintain a good relationship with the stores.
The Association were therefore very concerned to note comments by the CEO of the NTA on the occasion of the launch of their Apple Pay-enabled facility where Ms Anne Graham said that LEAP customers would be spared the “hassle” of having to “detour” to a shop to get a Top-up. Following a letter to the CEO from CSNA, in which we set out very clearly our dismay at her attitude to a sector that is responsible for the sale of more than 50% of all of LEAP products, and has continued to do so throughout the past 15 months of a Pandemic, we received a reply apologising for the error and accepting the importance of the retail sector in the grand scheme.
