The latte levy was quickly addressed by CSNA on behalf of our valued members. With tea and coffee now an intrinsic part of so many of our 1500 members businesses this needed to be dealt with efficiently. In response to the Minister’s proposal our CEO Vincent Jennings was on RTE Radio 1 on the Sean O’Rourke Show and Virgin Media News taking a strong stance on behalf of you the retailer in this regard. We also met with An Garda Siochana and the retail forum to continue our endeavour on behalf of retailers to try new initiatives and empower the retailer with knowledge on how best to ensure convictions etc. An ezine was sent out to all members on this in November however, if you didn’t receive same you can view our many security updates at csna.ie.
