A reminder that the Valuation office is currently carrying out revaluations of roughly 30,000 commercial premises in Clare, Donegal, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, Galway, Kerry and Mayo.
PVC’s (Proposed Valuation Certificates) are being issued in tranches between February 23rd and May 25th, 2023.
If you are unhappy with the proposed valuation, or if you believe errors have been made in collating the details leading to the valuation, you are entitled to make a representation to the Valuation Office (not your Local Authority) within 40 days of the date of issue of the Certificate.
The Valuation Certificate which notes the NAV (Net Annual Value) is NOT your rates liability, you will need to contact your Local Authority for an indication of liability , each LA strike different Rates.
