EDGE MEDIA is digitizing the retail shelf. We are a new digital media and advertising company that provides real time advertising content on digital screens, right at the Point-of-Decision.
We target 3 categories: Minerals – Alcohol – Confectionary.
The screens, called ‘SHELFIES’ attach directly onto the shelf-edge and display appropriate advertising for each category. Content on the screens run on a 30s loop of 3x10s slots. We sell these slots to advertisers, with any space we don’t sell, offered back to the retailers for their own use.
The screens are 1 metre in length and 80mm in height. We place a clear SEL strip behind the screen to display pricing. We can move the screens up or down depending on space available on the shelving unit. We never install screens that will hinder access to product in any way.
Shoppers of all age groups and demographics respond positively to digital engagement in-store. Our screens increase sales and brighten the shelving units, engaging with the customer in a way that inspires a response.

Cleeve’s Confectionery is an Irish brand that is much loved and well-known from years previous which has now returned to the shelves after 30 years.
All of Cleeve’s products are produced in Newbridge and carry the Guaranteed Irish logo to reflect that they are manufactured in Ireland, something of a rarity in the confectionery industry these days.
The Cleeve’s branding gives a nod to its vintage roots – the logo very similar to the original from 120 years ago. The bright colours of the hanging bags pop, they can be placed on hooks or are shelf ready in their box. The bars have a Willy Wonka likeness to them and a retro look to appeal to all ages.
Cleeve’s is exclusively distributed by Ampersand, an FMCG distributor based on the Naas Road. Ampersand are experts in the convenience sector and have steadily extended their snacking and confectionery portfolio in the last 5 years.
Best known for slab toffee which was produced in Limerick from the late 1800s, the product was exported all over the world and is fondly remembered as being an integral part of Ireland’s confectionery industry for most of the 20th century. Now in 2018, the new confectionery line features a range of hanging bags and bars. Original Toffee pieces return as a hanging bag, as well as Original Chocolate Caramels, Original Fudge, Lucky Numbers assortment and Original Iced Caramels.
The Iced Caramels sweet is a unique product, produced only in Ireland by Cleeve’s which is now located in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Iced Caramel’s complicated manufacturing process has been practised by Cleeve’s since 1990. Previous to this it was produced by Clarnico Murray who subsequently sold to Cadburys and since 1990 the Cleeve’s factory produced Iced Caramels under the Clarnico brand for Cadbury, then since 2007 under the Lemon’s brand and now in 2018 under its own Cleeve’s brand.
The range of bars includes Original Macaroon , Sea Salt Caramel Crisp and Choffo Bar, a chewy caramel chocolate bar.

Keyholding & Alarm Response
What is Keyholding and Alarm Response?
Keyholding and Alarm Response is the most commonly required Private Security Solutions service. At the end of the working day you simply set your Intruder Alarm and go home for the evening. In the event of an incident occurring out of your normal working hours our Mobile Fleet will be dispatched to your premises and deal with the situation.
What happens if there is a break in?
Our Mobile Fleet will follow assignment instructions for your site that are completed on day one of your agreement with us. This means you have the opportunity to manage your expectations as to what should happen. We work with a number of local partner companies to ensure that we guarantee not to leave your site until the issue is resolved – or you have given us permission to. From glazing to boarding, gas & electricity problems to Intruder Alarm failures, we will work with our suppliers on your behalf.
What happens if it is a false alarm?
Our Mobile Fleet will ascertain, where possible, the cause of the false alarm in order to prevent it happening again. The majority of Intruder Alarm call outs in Ireland are false alarms, caused by a number of things but most commonly open windows and faults on Intruder Alarm Systems. If we feel that your premises is generating an unusually high number of false alarms we will ask your Intruder Alarm partner to attend the site during working hours to work with you to solve the problem. In any event false alarms are always correctly reported to our customers.
Do I really need it?
Many businesses do not currently recognise the impact on their insurance should an incident happen. By employing Private Security to act as your official company keyholders not only to comply with lone worker policies but business continuity will improve, as no longer will senior members of your team have to attend the site in the middle of the night.
