Warning – Check Your Dockets

Every year, retailers lose money by not checking their delivery documents and alerting themselves that the cost price (or sometimes the agreed price) has increased without warning.

There is a very real possibility that if you don’t increase the selling price of a product that has had its wholesale price increased to you that you will incur significant margin erosion.   It is even more difficult when the increase is for a non-retail product or service.  It is not ‘too much trouble’, it is not someone else’s job, it is your business (in every way) to watch the costs of services, products, and fees.
